Know thyself

When asked what was the most difficult thing, Thales replied, “To know thyself.” When asked what was easiest, he replied, “To give advice.”

I think we should all place our lives under a microscope and see what causes our actions or lack thereof. We can’t hide in the mystery of ourselves anymore. We can’t be in denial of our animal nature that manifests it self through habit. We must not attribute our complete being to habit which is a matter of circumstance.  We must all search. Perhaps we will forgive easily and live happily then.
